About the Authors:
Bryan Harris is the Director of Professional Development for the Casa Grande (Arizona) Elementary School District. During his career, he has served as a classroom teacher, Instructional specialist, elementary school principal, and district-level administrator. He works with classroom teachers to incorporate brain-compatible teaching and strategies that help all students to succeed. Bryan holds a certification in brain-based learning from Jensen Learning Corporation and is currently completing a doctoral degree in educational administration from Bethel University.

Cassandra Goldberg is the Special Education Instructional Specialist for the Casa Grande Elementary School District in Casa Grande, Arizona. She received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oneonta in Human Ecology with a concentration in Child Development and Child & Family Studies in Oneonta, New York and a master’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York.
